In 2009, mutton bustin' was added to the event line-up at RODEOHOUSTON. All Mutton Bustin' participants must be between the ages of 5 and 6 years old and not weigh more than 60 pounds. Participants attempt to ride a "mutton" or sheep. A Mutton Bustin' event also is held in Kids Country.
