In an effort to raise awareness of the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, painted fiberglass mustangs were on display in Reliant Park during the three-week long 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The mustang sculptures tell the Show’s story, celebrate Houston and Texas’ rich history, as well as boast elaborate designs, bright colors, costumes and ornaments.

Boot Scoot 2007

The Western Heritage Community Challenge Committee initiated a new program to raise awareness of the Show’s 75th anniversary while continuing its focus on celebrating our Western heritage. Boot Scoot 2007 featured 85 six-foot high cowboy boots that were transformed into works of art and were displayed all over the city of Houston and in Reliant Park.
